يتميز فن الحفر ( الغرافيك) باشتماله على جانبي الفن المهمين. الوظيفة والإبداع، الأ مر الذي أتاح له أن تتعدد مهامه وسبل التعبير من خلاله ، فحقق نجاحات انحصرت في الحفر والطباعة لتمتد لاحقاً إلى فنون التصميم والشعارات والرموز ورسوم الكتب والرسوم المتحركة وقد ساعد الكمبيوتر في انتشاره عالمياً مستفيداً من التقنيات العلمية التي كان قد بدأها مع استفادته من التصوير الفوتوغرافي والطباعة الآلية. الفنانة التشكيلية شيرين رمزي درست فن الحفر، واستطاعت أن تفعّل، موهبتها عبر دراسة القيم اللونية، التي تشكل مادة أساسية لفهم آليات فن الحفر تقتضي فهم التدرجات اللونية بجزئياتها المطلقة كي يحقق المبدع اللون الضمني والداخلي للمعنى المقصود، وهذا ما حدا بكبار المصورين أن يمارسوا هذا الفن أمثال غويا ورامبرانت وسيزان وفان غوخ ودالي وبيكاسو وسواهم . أعمال شيرين تعتمد على المساحة المؤلفة من مجموعة مساحات، تحمل كل منها شخصيتها الخاصة، في الوقت الذي تنسجم مع باقي المساحات لتحقيق إيقاعات تتضمن زخارف تشي بذاكرة ثقافية شكلية، تمزج المعماري بالمفردات التزيينية، لتحقق الأعمال متوالية من الإشعارات التعبيرية عن ذات المبدعة، وبمهارة اليد التي تتعامل مع تقنيات الحفر والطباعة ورؤيا الفنانة المخلصة لاتجاهها ... إنها ارتجالات تمزج المرئي بالمؤثرات التراثية، وعبر سطوح تحمل صياغات ورموز ما تزال تعيد صورة الروح في أبهى تجلياتها... الاصطدام بالبياض يعني بدء العملية الابداعية ، وهو محاولة من الفنانة لنفي الفراغ والعدم ، ،وهنا تحضر الخبرة وتتكثف على المستويين التقني والابداعي لتشكيل حياة اللوحة ،إنها ملامسات دقيقة تحكي انتقال التجربة من الظلمة الى التحقق وهو ما يمنح كل تفاصيل الحياة للضوء والحركة. انجاز العمل الفني لدى شيرين يشبه الكتابة إلى حد كبير،إذ تجتمع الذاكرة والماضي بصخب مع الحاضر لتحقيق جذب بصري يدفعنا لإطالة النظر إلى أعمالها وقراءة التوتر الذي يدفع لانتاج يقظة يمتزج فيها العتمة بالبياض وكأن المعنى يشدنا لإطالة النظر فيما وراء المشهد اللوني الذي يحتاج كي ينزاح إلى تعلم الإفصاح عن الأبعاد التي تقتضيها مغامرة الفن والتعلق به للمخاطرة بإبراز موضوعات لها كينونتها وخصوصيتها. دروب الالتقاء بتشكيلات شيرين مفتوحة على أفاق الرمز والخط والتجريب ، وكذلك لوحتها ،فإنها تعيش حالة نمو مستمر باعتبارها إنجازاً تجريبياً يقتضي ألا ينتهي عند حدود شكلية.فالخطوط لأتشبه بعضها ، وهي تأتي في كل مرة من أماكن مختلفة وجذور متنوعة ..... المهم أن أنفاس الفنانة ونبضها يبقيان الأوضح في أعمالها اللوحة جزء من مشروع متكامل تحمل ما يحمل المشروع من قيم جمالية وفكرية ومهنية ومرجعية تمهد لاكتشاف عالم الفنانة المحمل بخبرة وموهبة باديتين .

The art of Graphic is known to include the two important sides of art, which are function and creativity. That allowed it to have many tasks and many ways of expressing through it. It achieved successes that were limited in graphic and printing, to extent later to the arts of design, symbols, the books drawing and cartoons. On the other hand, it is known that the computer helped to spread this art internationally, benefiting from the scientific techniques ,from photography and  from the mechanical printing.
The artist Shirin Ramzi studied the art of graphic and was able to use her talent by studying the colors which resemble a basic element to understand the mechanisms of graphic, that  requires the understanding of the color shades so that the artist would achieve the hidden and the inner color of the intended meaning. And this what made the most famous painters to practice this art, like Goya, Rambrant , Sezan, Van Gogh, Dali, Picasso and others.
The works of Shirin depends on the space which is formed of group of spaces ,that each one holds its character in the moment where it harmonizes with the rest of the spaces,  to achieve rhymes that includes ornamentations, which combines the architecture with the decorated items so that her works would reveal the self of the artist and the skill of her hands, which deal with the techniques of graphic, printing and the faithful vision of the artist. There are improvisations that combines the visible with the traditional effects and through surfaces, phrases and symbols which still bring back the image of the soul. The bang against the white means the beginning of creativity. It is the artist attempt to relegate the emptiness and the nothingness. And so here comes the experience and increased on the technical and creative level to form the life of the painting. They are a delicate moves that achieves all the details of life, the light and the movement.
Achieving the art work for Shirin is so much similar to writing, for the memory and the past combines with the present to achieve a visual attraction, that make us speculate for too long her works and read the tense which encourage to produce an a wakening where in it the blindness mingles with the whiteness.
The works of Shirin are open to the horizons of symbols, line and experimenting. Her painting lives a state of continuous growth for it is considered to be an experimental achievement that doesn t end on boundaries, for the lines are not similar to each other, and in every time it comes from different places and various roots. The most important thing is that the artist s soul remains the most obvious in her works. The painting is a part of  a whole project, that holds the aesthetical, intellectual and professional values and a reference that allow us to discover the world of the artist.
